G.W. is having a bad day...
First he was called beelzebub by Sean Penn at the Toronto Film Fest. Then he was called a dumb f*** by Natalie Maines in her new documentary. It's no secret that the Chicks are not Bush fans...does anyone remember that little incident from 2003?

No matter what your political opinions are, there is no excuse for berating/boycotting/threatening those who state their opinions. Our country was built on a freedom of speech for a reason. I/we/you have the right to express yourself just as much as the next person. (Yes, I know that there are limits to this, but I won't delve into all the legal mumbo-jumbo right now.) So back off. Let 'em be.

I love freedom of speech, because if it were really truely as it was intended by those who put it in there we would be able to say whatever we want. But now we have labels for each person who says what they think: anti-bush, freedom-hater, etc. I mean, even calling someone anti-semetic or anti-christian or anti-muslim for stating their opinion about something falls under this. And just because someone has a strong opinion against someone or something, doesn't mean they're going to act on it. In fact those who committ the most heinous crimes don't decalre it before they committ it. I have to stop here, because you know I can go on forever talking about this... and I'm sure at one point or another, you either heard me talk about it, or you WILL hear me talk about it :)
